JP Logistics Co., Ltd CEO Akira Adachi

Recently, the environment surrounding the world has been changing drastically, with growing concern about global environmental issues, soaring energy prices, rising geopolitical risks due to trade friction and interstate situations, and disruptions in supply chains. In addition, the logistics industry faces the challenge of dealing with the “2024 Issue,” in which overtime work limits will be tightened.

In this changing environment, the Japan Post Group has restructured its business to provide customers with higher quality services by establishing an efficient and speedy bulk logistics system to meet the rapidly diversifying and increasingly sophisticated logistics needs of customers.

From now on, under the new trade name “JP Logistics Co., Ltd.”, JP Logistics will take over the Contract Logistics and the Global Forwarding business of JP Toll Logistics Co., Ltd. As the core subsidiary responsible for the Japan Post Group’s domestic business-to-business (BtoB) logistics business, JP Logistics will further evolve and develop the seamless provision of an integrated logistics infrastructure through its logistics business, domestic transportation business, and international transportation business.

We are committed to providing our customers with even greater satisfaction by working together as one, and we look forward to your continued patronage of JP Logistics in the future.
