Tohan Transport Co., Ltd. founded, which is the predecessor of Footwork Express Co., Ltd.

Changed the name to Nippon Transport Co., Ltd. and began its transportation business.

Started Japan's first direct and long-distance scheduled service between Himeji and Tokyo.

Kyushu Sanko Transport Co., Ltd. became a member of the group company.

Became a member of the Toll Group (Head office: Melbourne, Australia), Australia's largest international logistics company, through the acquisition of all shares of the Toll Group.
